- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley optional
For the Mashed Potatoes:
- 2 lbs russet or Yukon Gold potatoes peeled and chopped
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ cup milk or cream

Cook the Potatoes:
Add chopped potatoes to a large pot of salted water.
Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender, about 15–20 minutes.

Mash with butter and milk until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook the Steak Bites:
Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steak bites in batches to avoid overcrowding. Cook for about 2–3 minutes per side until browned and caramelized.
Remove steak from skillet and reduce heat to medium.
Add butter and minced garlic to the pan. Stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Return steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
