Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients:
  • 8 oz pasta fettuccine, penne, or linguine work well
  • 10 oz sirloin or ribeye steak thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Method
 

Cook the Pasta:
  1. Boil salted water in a large pot.
  2. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water.
Sear the Steak:
  1. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear steak strips for 2–3 minutes per side, then remove and set aside.
Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
  1. Lower heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
  2. Sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and stir until warm and smooth.
  4. Whisk in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and a splash of pasta water to thin if needed.
  5. Let the sauce simmer until slightly thickened, about 3–4 minutes.
Bring It Together:
  1. Add pasta and steak back to the skillet.
  2. Toss everything together until coated and heated through.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve:
  1. Plate the pasta, top with chopped parsley, and add red pepper flakes if desired.
